Blast billiards is an online game that is found on many different internet sites throughout the web. Because it is a video game version of billiards it can’t actually improve a players game in the local pool hall, however, it is a great way to learn the theory and geometrical fundamentals that apply to the real life version of billiards. Not only can it be used as an educational tool, but it can prove to be a very fun way to pass time and extremely addictive. Even online players who have never picked up a cue stick will find that this is a game that everyone can enjoy.

One thing to consider when searching internet sites for blast billiards is that there are hundreds of variations of this game. Each game that is designed may have a different look, sound, style of play, or objective. However, the main objective is usually consistent throughout most games. A player must sink each ball (which is usually designed to look like a bomb) before it explodes in a predetermined amount of time. Once the “bomb” explodes, the game is over. The faster that a player is able to sink the balls, the more points are accrued. With each second that is still on the countdown, additional points will be added to the total score. This type of scoring system encourages players to act fast and instinctively in pursuit of a high score. Very often, online players will have to come up with new and unique strategies that are not usually found on real billiards tables.

Just like in a real version of billiards this game does involve the use of strategy. The goal for every shot may not be to sink a ball, but instead set yourself up for the upcoming shot. For the most part, players should try to play in a simple and safe manner in order to avoid trouble which can quickly escalate the difficulty of the game. Usually, if a player strikes the cue ball with speed and straight on, it will stop upon impact, transferring energy fully to the desired ball. On the other hand, shooting the cue ball thin will result in the cue ball slowly moving across the table after impact.

Gaining bonus points are necessary to reach higher scores. In most versions of the game, bonus points can be gained through unique shots, completing predetermined objectives and pocketing certain balls in order. In some of the more recent games, bonus points are awarded by pocketing the black ball last, which is sometimes called the “black bonus.” Although all blast billiards games have a different style of play, the important thing to remember is to find one that is enjoyable for you. Some versions of this game prove to be very hard and complicated which doesn’t prove to be all that enjoyable.
